About Chiropractic
Chiropractic is the largest drug-free healing profession in the United States. Most graduating Chiropractic physicians have at least eight years of college, including four years of undergraduate and four or more years of Chiropractic college. About 250 million Chiropractic treatments are given each year.
So, you ask, "How could I benefit from Chiropractic treatment?"
The question you should relly be asking is, "Am I ready to take responsibility for my own health by correcting the causes of my health imbalances, rather than waiting for a crisis to happen and suppressing the symptoms with medication?"
While often people think of visiting a Doctor of Chiropractic only when experiencing back pain, the American public consults a Chiropractor more frequently than any other type of medical specialist, including their general practitioner and orthopedic surgeon when they have back pain. Actually, back pain just one of the many ailments Chiropractic care can fix.
Chiropractic approaches health from the "inside-out." When our bodies suffer from illness, disease or pain, that's a reflection that our body is out of balance. Chiropractic works to restore and maintain balance by enhancing the structural integrity of the spine and restoring proper nerve communication from the brain to the body. Structure follows function. Function follows structure. Where there's a cause, there must be an effect...and where there is an effect, there must be a cause. By balancing the spine, Chiropractic allows the body to more aptly address and correct many different health problems. This can, and often times does originate in the spine and nervous system.
